A lifelong Central Florida resident born in Daytona Beach, Larry graduated from Stetson University with a Business degree. He was then drafted by the California Angels as the 7th draft pick in 1992 and also played with the Houston Astros.
After retiring from baseball in 1997, Larry became a rep for Florida Rock Industries and subsequently started Express Concrete, which generated over $1 million in sales in 2005. During this time, Larry obtained his General Contractors license and wanting to “build” his own contracting company, Larry then partnered with Jon Erickson to form Hingle Erickson Construction noting that they share the same philosophies - honesty, attention to detail and commitment to total customer satisfaction with no exceptions.
After graduating from the University of Central Florida, Jon joined forces with a local general contractor and has remained a dedicated builder ever since. To date, he’s built several hundred homes across a variety of roles including tradesman, superintendent, estimator, project manager, purchasing director, land development and owner.
Currently, Jon is a State Certified Building Contractor and comes from a family of construction - his grandfather was the first licensed General Contractor in Pinellas County. When not working, Jon builds furniture, draws, and designs his home projects. His love of building sets him apart from other contractors as well as his sincere enjoyment of crafting the delicate interworking pieces that bring a project together.
